So Much it Hurts

I was invited to do some prophetic painting at an event my missions group was having, their Freedom Rally at Redeeming Love Church. This is the image God gave me, illustrating His love for the world. (For those of you who don't know, prophetic painting is more of a metaphorical than direct word/image from God. You know how Jesus spoke in parables? Kindof like that.) His compassion and jealousy and desire for us is so intense that it hurts, and He so longs for us to draw near to Him. His heart aches for the world and those lost in sin and darkness, believing that God doesn't love them, or that He isn't even there. Even though we're so small and insignificant -- just look at the size of our planet compared to Him! Yet He yearns to touch our hearts and heal us with His light and truth, if only we'd turn to Him.
